Refund and Cancellation Policy

Because our items are made to order or personalised, different rules apply to returns and cancellations.

1. Cancellations

  • Orders for made-to-order or custom items may be cancelled within [X hours] of placing the order, provided production has not yet started.

  • Once production has begun, cancellations are not possible.

  • To request a cancellation, please contact us immediately at socretionsgiftsanddecor@gmail.com.

2. Returns & Refunds – Custom Items

Under EU consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Personalised items

  • Custom-made goods created to your specifications

For this reason, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on made-to-order or personalised items unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

3. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Faulty

  • Or significantly different from what was ordered

Please contact us within 10 of delivery and include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the item and packaging

We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, offer:

  • A replacement
    OR

  • A refund (including return postage, where required by law)

4. Non-Custom Items (If Applicable)

If your order includes non-custom, ready-made items, these may be returned within 14 days of delivery in accordance with EU consumer rights, provided the item is unused and in its original condition.

Return shipping costs for non-custom items are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
